As a member of the South Dakota State Poetry Society, you will help with our mission of supporting and encouraging poem making and reading in South Dakota.

Membership Dues
$40 / annually
Membership dues for the following year must be paid before January 1 each year. Membership dues paid after February 1 will be applied to the next calendar year, and your first issue of Pasque Petals would be the Spring issue of that year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does my membership begin right away?
Membership follows the calendar year. Membership renewals for the next calendar year are due by January 1 and may be paid at any time during the current year. For instance, memberships paid in March, 2023 are effective January 1, 2024 to January 1, 2025.
How do I pay for my membership?
Simply click on the button on this page. If you prefer to pay by mail, please send a check payable to “SDSPS” to our Membership Chair at the address here. You may also include gift memberships, but please include a note with the name and address of the person/people you wish to receive your gift(s). If you are adding a donation, include a note indicating this, too.

How do I give a gift membership?

When is the annual meeting and may anyone attend?
The annual meeting occurs at the Festival of Books, alternately held in Deadwood (odd years) and Brookings (even years). All members are welcome to attend. Look for information on our website and Facebook pages.
